Restaurants to Try in Lagos

If you’re a die-hard foodie like me, you’ll never run out of places to try while in Lagos. This post would quickly turn into an e-book if I tried to list all the restaurants to try in Lagos. But I think this list is a solid place to start, so enjoy!

The House: I loved how each part of the restaurant was named after a different part of your home – our dinner in “The Living Room” was rightfully cozy, with a throw blanket to survive the intense AC breeze. The food was actually delicious, and the customer service was great as well!

The Backyard Lagos: Such a perfect setting – you actually feel like you’re in someone’s backyard with the fake grass and the picnic tables. I loved the food, but I think them playing 2 Beyoncé songs is what really won me over lol.

The Tearoom: As a DC-native, my brunch obsession is no surprise, so when I heard of this cute brunch spot in Lagos I was pretty excited. While the food was pretty good, the chic ambiance was a much-appreciated bonus.

Nok by Alara: I haven’t been here (yet), but I’ve heard so many good things about it, so I’m planning a trip there very soon. From the stunning interior to the unique twist on tradition African dishes, Nok is sure to exceed you’re expectations.

Hans and Rene: Not exactly a restaurant, but what’s dinner without a delectable dessert? Hans and Rene will definitely satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings, with their freshly baked cupcakes, and their rich assortment of ice creams.

The Ice Cream Factory: This is another place for all my sweets-lovers. My personal favorite is their “Cookies and Cream” ice cream!
